NOESIS
MUSEUM OF ENTRIES REDESIGN
The brief
Design of a set of small stands that would be used for the display of visual material in the lobby of the Science Centre and Technology Museum NOESIS.Science Centre and Technology Museum NOESIS

We proposed six L shaped stands that could also be used as seats. The vertical part of the construction is equipped with a showcase for small exhibits and an lcd screen. With their clear, almost simplistic form and the coloured lights on their top the six stands become a distinctive feature in the museums lobby. Moreover, since they are placed on wheels, they are easy to move and form a number of possible combinations that could be used to accommodate different scenarios of use. An optical illusion is proposed for the waiting room of the Simulator. A band of white reflective vinyl stripes climbs from the floor to the wall and then to the roof. This is a visual trick that shakes for a few seconds the certainties of the visitors, creating an introduction comparable to the experience that follows.
