The main concept of the new pedestrian road lies in the organization of the public space by means of circles of different sizes and uses expressed through a change of ground materials. The circles range from very small (less than one meter) to very big (20 meters diameter), and define the place of all the components of the public space, from light fixtures to green areas, including bus stops, terrace areas for bars and cafés and more. The aim of giving such organization is to reduce the optical noise of the axis and to achieve a large-scale homogeneity.
