OPEN PLAN VILLA
RESIDENCE IN PANORAMA
The briefDetail Design, Construction Supervision, Interior Design and Concept for a suburban Private Residence
The house as a built volume plays with transparencies and aims to blur the boundaries between interior and exterior. The aim of the interior design was to follow this concept of interior-exterior merging through the configuration of the residence’s interior and the choice of materials and colors. The main floor material is oak, interrupted by marble surfaces around the fireplace and in the basement stairs. The stairs to the upper level, cantilevered, lay under a skylight that brings light all the way to the basement. In the master bedroom, a walk-in closet serves as a separation volume between the bedroom and the bathroom, it’s prominent mass highlighted by a blue led line on its top.
